Third Wave Cafe is dedicated to being a sustainability focused business. We strive not only to provide each guest with a unique and memorable dining experience, but to do so while being mindful of our environmental impact. We are very proud to have partnered with many renowned organizations that are tirelessly championing for change. James Beard Foundation's Smart Catch and Monterrey Bay Seafood Watch has expanded our understanding and concern for the oceans fisheries, allowing us to make better informed decisions when presenting our guest with seafood items. GAP is helping us seek out and source healthier more humane options for our menu. United Nations World Tourism Organization, Blue Community and One Planet Living have provided us with guidance to help us shape and sharpen our sustainability plan. Now we are very excited to announce that our Futuremaker's One Planet Living plan has been selected as the plan of the week!

Thursday, June 14, 2018 CHEFS FOR FISH NIGHT
Want to be a part of something big?! Join us this Thursday evening for a special seafood dish we are preparing to promote a cause. We will be working with chefs nationwide who are pushing forward the cause for sustainability.
There are currently bills in Congress that could weaken the sustainability measures that are taken by the fisheries management law, called the Magnuson-Stevens Act.
Over 50 chefs nationwide are coming together across the country with the Monterey Bay Aquarium to support this law to ensure that Congress hears us.
Help support our coastal economies, help support sustainable food systems, and help ensure that the fish we source will be healthy for generations to come!
